To make it easier for schools to establish a first point of contact with the University, each Oxford college is linked with a particular region of the UK. In line with this programme, St Hilda's collaborates with other colleges to provide support to schools in the South East of England.
You can find out more about Oxford for South East, here. As an individual college, our link areas are Surrey and Hampshire (excluding Portsmouth, Southampton, and the Isle of Wight).
We are happy to visit state schools and colleges in these regions to speak to students and teachers about applying to Oxford.
Outreach Roadshows - Hampshire and Surrey
Each year we hold sessions for year 10-11, and for year 12 state school students, interested in applying to University. We hold these in-person sessions at hub schools across Hampshire and Surrey. Other local schools are welcome to book on to attend these sessions, as a school trip. Information about the St Hilda's Outreach Roadshows, including when we put a call out for host venues, is communicated through our outreach newsletter (see below.) It is not normally possible to book onto these sessions as an individual.
Please send an questions or queries to the outreach team.
Outreach Newsletter
We advertise our upcoming dates for visits in the Outreach Newsletter for teachers. If you are a teacher in a school in Hampshire or Surrey and would like to receive these alerts, please make sure you are signed up to our mailing list.
