St Hilda's College
Thank you for your interest in applying to be a Student Ambassador for the St Hilda's contribution to the University-wide open day on Friday 18th September 2026. We expect to need ambassadors from 7:30am - 5:00pm. (The first half an hour is a free breakfast!)
The role involves being a friendly face to offer-holding students, providing tours of the College, talking with prospective students about your subject area, talking about social life at Oxford and answering questions. You will be provided with further advice, guidance and support closer to the time, including a 30-60 minute, paid, in-person training session on the afternoon of Thursday 17th September.
Payment will be £13.45 per hour plus £1.62 per hour for holiday pay. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will also be provided. We have a limited amount of overnight accommodation for the night of Thursday 17th September available free of charge to ambassadors. Unfortunately, we are not able to cover travel costs.
Please note applications will be considered both on the basis of relevant experience and with a view to having a range of subjects and year groups represented. We will be giving priority to trained St Hilda's ambassadors.
We are very happy to have students who have just graduated this summer as part of the ambassador team.
