St Hilda's College is proud to congratulate Laura Coates who has been awarded the title of Full Professor in the University of Oxford’s 2026 Recognition of Distinction Scheme.
Laura said: 'I am delighted to be awarded the title of Professor of Clinical Rheumatology and grateful to all of the people around me who have supported my career to get to this point. I am excited to continue to build the focus on clinical research in rheumatology at Oxford with my amazing team, the Oxford Clinical Trials Research Unit and collaborators across Oxford and beyond.”
This comes alongside Laura's appointment as Director of the Oxford Clinical Trials Research Unit (OCTRU), where she will lead the next phase of its development and strengthen its position as a leading clinical trials unit.
