St Hilda's College

Applicant Feedback

Thank you for applying to the University of Oxford. Every year the university receives thousands of applications for a limited number of places, and this year was equally as competitive. Unfortunately, this means that candidates with great applications have to be turned away.

We cannot offer feedback to those rejected before interview for almost all subjects, beyond what is provided below. However, initial shortlisting for Law, Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is carried out centrally. For these subjects only, requests for feedback about any application that has not been shortlisted for interview should be addressed in the first instance to the Admissions Coordinator of the appropriate programme at the faculty/department (or for Law, please contact undergraduate.enquiries@law.ox.ac.uk).

Candidates who have been rejected after being interviewed for any subject can request additional feedback. Please note that individual comments are short and not always available. We cannot guarantee detailed interview feedback.  We are only able to provide feedback to first-choice St Hilda’s applicants.

Please do not request feedback until after the summary report for your subject is available below, and you've received your test score (if relevant & with the exception of the LNAT.)

Feedback will generally be provided within twenty working days of receipt of the request.  We will not normally provide feedback where the request is made after 15 February. Please do not email us asking for feedback, please use the form at the bottom of this page. THE ABOVE DEADLINE HAS PASSED - FEEDBACK REQUESTS ARE NO LONGER BEING ACCEPTED. THE FORM IS NOW CLOSED.

We aren't able to offer feedback to candidates who are successful in their application.

You may also find the central university feedback page useful. Information on appeals is also available. Details of how we use contextual data in our decision making is also available.

We are not legally allowed to discuss individual applicants with third parties, including parents, without the applicant’s express written permission via the email address listed on their UCAS form.
